Why not try your hand at needle felting?
Needle felting is a fun and creative way to embellish your knits or to construct unique, eye-catching pieces. It involves wool roving or feltable yarn and extremely sharp barbed needles that allow you to agitate the fibers to make appliques, pictures and interesting shapes that will take your craft to the next level. Try your hand at needle felting with our array of tools and kits. Clover makes creating needle felted embellishments a breeze with their convenient needle felting mat, felting needle tool and pen-style needle tool. We also have individual felting needles in a variety of sizes to accommodate even the most intricate detail work. If you need some inspiration or some help getting started, check out our Artfelt kits. Each one contains felting needles, a plastic mat, an instructional DVD and enough colorful pencil roving to complete a scarf, bag or pillow. We also have several books with tips and techniques to get you started. And look for a needle felting workshop later this winter.
