Pictures of some recent Sit and Stitch night happenings
Clockwise from top, Maggie Sefton, author of Dropped Dead Stitch, regales an attentive audience with the adventures of a mystery writer; Erin Taylor Bell’s Wednesday night delivery of C*EYE*BER Fiber roving creates excitement in the spinning community; and Molly Chase and Alison Olivia Chase, four days old. (We’ll really miss Molly and Allison, now residents of Kalamazoo, Michigan.)

We get Misti
One of the great things about going to TNNA’s annual trade show in Columbus, Ohio, is the opportunity to walk the aisles of the exhibit hall and see the full lines of yarn companies that don’t have local representatives. This year we really liked what we saw at the Misti Alpaca booth. And instead of waiting to take delivery for the fall season, we decided to go for immediate gratification. So on our shelves now is a good selection of Misti’s 100 percent baby alpaca Hand Paint Lace in lovely variegated shades and Misti Alpaca Lace in solid colors. Coming later is an 80 percent baby suri alpaca and 20 percent silk blend in DK weight. Stop by and find out why we’re so much in love with Misti.
