Silk Garden Lite is back, Imperial Stock Ranch is new
It’s back by popular demand! We’re talking about Noro’s Silk Garden Lite, the gorgeous silk (45 percent). mohair (45 percent) and lamb’s wool (10 percent) whose discontinuation caused dismay throughout the fiber world. So Noro revived the yarn, and we’ve got it in eight new colorways. Look for it next time you’re in the shop.
A speaking of new arrivals, don’t miss the yarns and patterns from Imperial Stock Ranch, the only privately held ranch in Oregon recognized as a National Historic District. This is U.S.-produced yarn from the ranch’s own flock of Columbia sheep, custom milled without harsh chemicals or extreme temperatures. It’s comfortable, soft and pure, specially dyed to reflect the ranch’s unique high-desert landscape. Check out the yarns at www.imperialyarn.com, then come and see what we have at A Tangled Skein. Currently in stock is Columbia two-ply, a heavy worsted, Tracie, a sport weight yarn, and bulky two-strand pencil roving.
