About
At A Tangled Skein, you can count on finding lovely yarns, useful books and supplies for knitting and crocheting, good advice and a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. We offer classes for everyone from the beginner to the expert, and we can arrange for private lessons as well. Our comfortable sofas and chairs will tempt you to sit a while, enjoy our coffee and other free refreshments, and contemplate your next project.
New yarns are arriving almost every day. Right now, you can choose among our selection of Debbie Bliss, Noro, Encore, Brown Sheep, Ella Rae, Berrocco, Classic Elite, Southwest Trading and Filatura di Croso, among many others. And don’t miss our yarn tree with its fabulous selection of hand-dyed skeins from South America.
We’re located in the heart of downtown Hyattsville, less than two miles north of the Washington, D.C., line, right on U.S. 1 and across from Franklin’s Restaurant and General Store. There’s ample parking on the street and in two municipal lots, and we’re easily accessible by public transportation.
See you soon!
